Enter The Dragon

Enter The Dragon I must say that the film is not better than average if you take the quality of the film only in mind and would have earned a rating of 3 stars if it were not for Bruce Lee in question. To see a film like this for the martial arts, not for enlightenment and dialogue, and all this in mind and what remains is the genius.

Bruce Lee was a martial arts genius, no question. Forget the special effects of Matrix, Reeves is as good as (and yes, I could beat you up!) Many of the effects of the Matrix is assisted - Bruce is 100% talent.

Catwoman

This is not a cat is a dog. Truly terrible in every sense of the word, and hard to find anything redeeming about it. The music was terrible.

The CG effects were terrible. Halle Berry was terrible. In fact, it was as bad as I had heard that would be rented only to see if that was indeed the case, and it was.

The plot is minimal with Halle strutting like a kitten-with-Klaws seeks trying to be a hero risen, with Arnie-esque ONE LINERS that were truly shocking. You know it’s going to be bad when someone as attractive as this horrible Halle looks a leather suit with digital airbrushing at every step.

I could go on, but it is now time to forget ….

V For Vendetta

This is everything a movie should be. Sufficient measures to complement the story.

A parcel, Amazing quality (especially given tissue have to fully express herself behind a mask without the ability of facial expression of this world). Excellent picture, address and a significant script, each word seemed to have. I’m not a fan of the movie - my wife - but now I have seen this movie more than 7 times and love it more each time (very unusual for me).

The eloquence of the script I find fascinating and i’n not a fan of Shakespeare (in fact I like Sheakespeare). If you like a movie that makes you think and makes you question your beliefs you’ll love this.

This is a film I can watch again and again and makes me question both my own beliefs and what is happening around me.

Cradle 2 The Grave

With a cast of martial arts as impressive as this really is no excuse why this was a bad movie. You have a good selection of fighters and fight scenes, when well managed not only to optimize the maximum effect is therefore very unsatisfactory.

I was very disappointed because I was waiting to see Jet Li in action. Although it has a fair share of fighting and action going throughout the film is a disappointment. If you’re bored with nothing better to do then watch this one but if you are expecting a good entertaining movie - I would give this a bug.

Too bad it could have been a great one.

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride

This is the first movie my daughter saw the movie and since I was only 3 when it was questionable to say the least. In the case, she, her two older brothers and I stood around and the DVD came out in time for his birthday and was at the top of your current list. This, as Shrek, is the type of Tim Burton s Corpse Bride animation which has as much appeal for adults as it has done for children.

The animation, humor and concept are all wonderful, but I think what elevates this above many others is that the voice casting is so perfect for the characters, giving the impression that is why they were elected and not only to sell a movie. Fab film, put it in your list NOW.

Dreamcatcher

Excellent movie. If you like Stephen King and / or horror / sci-fi this is for you. Something like Cabin Fever (only 10 times better) meets Tommyknockers, meets something else. This film has everything - suspsense, horror, some laughs and sense moments. The all I will say about this movie is that has to sit and see that from the beginning (the first 15 minutes are a bit slow but we must see to understand things).

Not the kind of film that can stand up and take a cup of tea halfway through what you’ll lose part of the story line and background. I’ma fan of Stephen King and normally do not like movie versions of books, but never got through the first 100 pages of this book, so now the film has attracted me to read the book.

Definitely one to watch.

Dukes Of Hazzard

Lets do a remake of a classic. OK, but let’s change some things. Lets do the boys, idiots who are not funny.

Let the fun police officers were fun and serious when you can not worry about writing a decent script. Why do not fully dimensional Hogg? Allows garbage garbage movie with jokes, naked women and swearing - I do not remember before.

Oh, and lets you blonde Daisy. OK maybe think that once again, as every black film of their longer roots and shorter depending on the order of the shots.

Sorry really poor, especially all the continuity errors. Please stop ruining classic Hollywood trash! One star for the end credits and a star for the general.

If they had left more changes!

The Matrix Reloaded

It was never really a convert to the matrix. It was a good success rate with some original effects and a ridiculous performance by Reeves.

A film that took itself seriously * so * waiting for the public to buy into his pseudo-philosophical ramblings and semantics techno but also expected to be created in one’s ability “to dodge bullets, but no karate chops . This sequel is heavy on the absurd claim philoshopical first and merely retreads of the first action over Agent Smith. As a result of this sequel is a double thumbs-down, fit only for teenagers or very, very stoned.

Murder By Numbers

Murder By Numbers This film has a history with many original features, but never really rose above average. Sandra Bullock was good, the whole cast was good, however, seemed to fall short of the pace to a thriller.

Perhaps the story even tried to accomplish too much and not as a result that does not even reach the level of fear and tension needed for the murder hunt. Sandra Bullock plays a cop with a past that torments, the destruction of their relationships with everyone around her, but also inspired to be a very good police. The film tries to cover a murder hunt, the main themes characters, feelings about their partner’s partner, strange compulsions driving the murderer and the dynamics surrounding the realtionships of the murderer.

I think maybe I could find out who the main character, or what the main argument was never so identified with one of the characters. I would recommend this film as preferable to a serious, poorly acted seen hundreds of times the movie plot, but never met expectations.
