The Interpreter

This film was very good, but still not delivered. It had the potential to be much more than a Hollywood blockbuster, but its lack of character development Let It Down. Even the performance of Kidman and Penn do not help, as he felt that people who played in two dimensions of design.

The views of the city and in particular the United Nations buildings gave the film an element of realism that helped to action. Despite a moderately fast pace that kept you interested, lack of character progression as a result of apathy that I really do not care what happened to any of them.

Even the final push you know if the result is acceptable to all concerned.

40 Year-Old Virgin

For those people who turns off after 10 or 20 minutes - Sorry guys, but you missed what proved to be a good idea. I must admit that after 20 minutes I thought it was rude and brainless; waaaaaay down the ride home drunk and seafood sandwich “scene” out of place.

However, giving time for the movie, and it grows on you. Its almost as if the changes midway through the direction and becomes a little more grown up. Or less clumsy child anyway.

We ended up liking at the end and they were laughing uproariously in the end credits. Only three stars, because the first 20 minutes.

Serenity

Admittedly, the audience in the cinema were divided in this case. Half were cooing, clapping and smiling enough to light the movies.

The other half, including myself are fidgetting and could not leave fast enough. The problem for me was that it was another TV show, except that I had paid the charges to go see him.

The script is poor, the average quality and the whole thing very convincing (which is a fan of science fiction and horror). If the writer / director set out to make its Star Wars, this is closer to the poorest of an episode of Star Trek spin off or Battlestar Gallactica.

Unleashed

This film was brilliant. Jet Li acts and who fights in this movie.

He is a vulnerable, shy, lost the character of much of this film, played to perfection. Film begins to be a dog trainer / fighter for a Shylock played by Bob Hoskins. Jet-Li character (Danny) is set to attack as soon as you remove the belt Hoskins.

However, Jet Li, after an accident and lost findshimself found by a blind character played brilliantly by Morgan Freeman, who helps Danny learn to live as a human being in the bosom of his family. However, later events turn for the worst and Danny has to fight for their lives and for those who now come to the class as his real family.

Absolutley great movie, I could not recommend enough.

Peter Pan

Peter Pan This is the story of Peter Pan, right? A new live-action tread of the Disney film, with shades of “fiasco Spielberg Hook” pendulously hanging over him, right? Nope.

It’s overwhelming. Family history is given an overhaul almost Freudian (Wendy very fantasies Captain Hook! And he is your father!), And the determination of Peter to be the boy who never grows up is interpreted as a weakness, rather than something that is aspired.

And yet it manages to be hugely entertaining throughout. Jason Isaacs plays both the villain and Mr. Darling with a real ability, and without too many echoes of Lucius Malfoy, and Jeremy Sumpter is exactly as naughty as it should.

Richard Briers is a joy that Mr. Smee - shame on you, Bob Hoskins and cursed steals the show. And the Lost Boys are just that, unlike Mr. Spielberg’s ridiculous street-punks. Frankly, I expected to enjoy it at all - in fact, argued against ordering it - but was very pleasantly surprised.

As, hopefully, it will be!

Connie And Carla

If you take all the good ideas of ‘Some Like It Hot, “” Thelma and Louise “and” Priscilla, Queen of the Desert “may end up with … a disappointing movie, as Connie and Carla. Although Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette are all about two naive girls who have the career of pretending to be drag queens, are a Connie And Carla defrauded by a silly plot, unfunny and poorly developed.

David Duchovny enters and leaves the film looking confused (or maybe for a new agent) and the story reaches its predictable conclusion without finding a single original idea on the road. On the positive side, the musical numbers were performed with energy, and without them this film would be quite tragic.

2 Fast, 2 Furious

2 Fast, 2 Furious Let me begin by saying, I liked this movie. But I liked the first and I like all kinds of “Bloke films. No real history to mention, a great soundtrack, great cars (although it seems we have to change gears too often for my taste) and car racing large / chases. If Cimena you like your house has a bass control, turn up and enjoy it when the wife is away. She hates you or ask why waste so much time when you could paint the garden shed or anything else that has not been painted for 2 weeks (or is that just my house I’m thinking?).

Red Dragon

Red Dragon In my opinion this is the best movie of all the stories of three Hannibal, especially because it has the strongest cast (to include Edward Norton and Ralph Fiennes) and is able to build on the established character though Technically the film is set before the others. I hear Norton criticized for his role in this film, and apparently made of wood.

I disagree, and I think his reaction visible in the economy and the emotion in some scenes has a powerful effect: the time it realizes that his friend, psych profiler is actually the murderer who is looking for (and sits before him) is all in the eyes can see * * the realization, as it occurs. The plot of the film follows much the same theme as the original police need the help of Lecter’s cage intimidating even to catch a very nasty man before killing his last victim. There is no chemistry between Norton and Hopkins in this movie, however, and was originally greeted as friends after long separation.

Fiennes also offers a powerful role as the tormented serial murderer, with scenes showing his true humanity and vulnerability, and ask them to tie someone to a chair and tortured. I’ve seen the original version of this film, and this is an improvement if only for having Hopkins and the other actors in higher budget. In general, a must for anyone who enjoyed Silence of the Lambs.
