Pride and Prejudice

I rented this question because I do not care if it’s a remake or whatever. If you’re an average viewer happy in your life you can enjoy the film.

The settings are wonderful, and the actresses are great - and not so stupid to that time (do not know why, but I always tend to think that the old days were stupid). And, boys, music worth seeing the movie itself. Conclusion?

If you enjoy the comedy / drama of love stories, if you’re not picky about British adaptations of classical works, and especially if I lie and enjoyed rent without any pride or prejudice.

Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

First, and despite appearances, this film is not about drugs though definitely a strong theme again. The movie is actually more about the power that led to the sixties (what ever that was) is rapidly losing its place in the 1970 U.S. conservative.

Film SA is hilarious but has a dark heart handicapped by the fact that the past - from the failures of the ’60s. Raul and Dr. Gonzo treat your trip to Las Vegas as a great opportunity to have a good time rubbing their faces that makes Americans so crazy conservatives.

The plot does not exist, but the flashback style can get confusing at first. This is a movie full of hilarious, eccentric detail. Some of the best liners once - “We can not stop here, this is bat country!” It has to be in the Oxford dictionary of quotations!

Needs a bit of concentration and I wouldn t suggest to look under any kind of influence, and that s designed to be an intoxicating assault on sober conciseness. You do not have to know about drugs to identify with this film - that s not the point. No s drug slapstick humor that s objective s the joy of seeing so intense obscenity and excess.

Deep and Del Toro are brilliant and much of the script, from the book, is a genius. A hilarious, intense film, smart and bold.

The Grudge

What a brilliant remake !!…. The way this film is shot keeps you on the edge of your seat and has plenty of scares to make you jump. A remake is well done and, although fairly short at about 1hr20mins keep your attention throughout and is intelligent in a way that shows story. It reminds me a bit of Memento in that the end is shown first and then wrap around the previous events for film. However All you do is so much easier to follow and that combined with good performance makes this a very good film!

Elizabeth - The Golden Age

Elizabeth-The Golden Age?? The title is a bit tacky, sounds like an album title 60 of the soul singer.

However, the film more than adequately made up for deficiencies in the title. Clive Owen is a bit ‘hang dog “to me, but he bluffed his way through the ego boost the role of Walter Elizabeth - The Golden Age very well. Blanchett, a bit like the VW Golf of actresses, right?

Very competent, solid and reliable but I find it rather boring, to be honest. However, she has certainly made the role of the Virgin Queen one of their own and all the hats (or head) outside it.

King Kong Production Diaries

After being in 2 hours of steam coming out of the false and extra pavement eating breakfast and long shots of the actors moving through the jungle false, Peter Jackson said: “And now we can show you ten minutes of really interesting stuff that we were not allowed to show that before ‘and behold, it really is what it is .. King kong, and yes we get to see ten whole minutes of interesting stuff.I buy this pile of crap and I wish he had rented for the first time because I was expecting something like documentries in the extended edition Lord of the Rings DVD, instead we attempted lame jokes, and background images “of the builders set and lighting men. King Kong Production Diaries It stinks Wonderful. The any appropriation of money and is so unlike Peter Jackson to make this.w know it’s saving the best material for the DVD of King Kong, why is this release? And where were the post-production diaries that Jackson mentioned? I think the film was so expensive that people in the study thought “let’s make some easy money, the masses will buy anything,” and may have-I bought it.Why reason I feel so deceived? because I trusted Peter Jackson, movies and making have always been first class.I hope that this DVD does not start a trend of extra money for studies of scraping the bottom of the first sub-product barrel.Peter Jackson . Avoid standard.

Blood Simple

Blood Simple This film was presented to me by several people “arty” as the Coen Bros. best work is definitely a very clever, imaginative and quirky film.

From a script point of view, it captures the delicate balance between the absurd lies and interesting twists to make interesting movies. The opening scene is particularly good, the acting is brilliant, as always, and has the typical dry humor that characterizes hidden among the most dramatic moments of the film, which is something I love about the Coen brothers (I mean “dead exit “scene in particular). Thus the seeds of greatness are, however, I still think this film has clearly fallen, and has the refinement of other works such as Fargo, for instance. All in all, though, good stuff!

Children Of Men

I saw a preview of this movie a few months ago and immediately knew that I wanted, and if you also like post apocalyptic type movies then you really enjoy this movie. There is action from beginning to end, is witty, tense and makes you think about our place in the world. It is located in a not too distant future that makes the film even more frightening, you can actually imagine some of the themes of this movie comes true (and in Children Of Men some points already have), the “big brother” government, and the struggle with mass immigration all feel very familiar.

Visually it’s excellent weather, photos uncut giving an almost documentary, the scene in the car blow you away, like most parts of the film tension. The cast also excellent, Clive Owen, Michael Caine, and the young Claire-Hope, deliver all good, solid performances.

Although this is a sad movie, much of the good old British humor scattered throughout.

King Kong

King Kong probably would have really enjoyed this movie if not for all the publicity that the media, as I expected much more from him. the graphics are poor (compared to the hype) and I think some of the dinosaurs that were re-melted in the Jurassic Park.

the girl was stupid of him, especially the dancers all that??? the beginning of the movie was very slow and as others have me for not knowing frustarted Kong came to New York? anyway after the first hour starts, but I had to watch this movie for three nights.

of the value of a watch, but personally I enjoyed the 1970 version more.
