Anatomy Of Hell

I do not like free porn for the sake of it, but every scene of this film is fascinating and philosophically justified but very graphic. Yes, you will see real sex, erect penises, and even within a vagina.

And I do not even go into what happens with a garden rake in a scene. But if someone tells you that this is a nonsensical story free sex are wrong.

This is a very deep and intelligent film of a man and a woman (do not know their names, so we can assume that they are perhaps synonymous with Adam and Eve). The man is a misogynist - which is also gay, but Breillat is not trying to suggest that gay men hate women, so those who criticize the movie for this reason, you should really check it. Rocco Siffredi character is not representative of gay people, Anatomy Of Hell that is representative of a typical misogynist.

Anyway, this is by-the-by. This is also a beautifully filmed movie, with some breathtaking cinematography and the naked body of the woman who lies in bed is reminiscent of the dozens of paintings by Ingres, Velázquez …. Really get into their characters so deeply we almost feel like we’re in the room with them.

Rocco Siffredi is a revelation: this is not the piece of meat pulls away in skinflicks as “True Buttman & Rocco’s Brazilian Butt Fest ‘or’ Anal Stories’, this is an actor able to portray the emotion and pathos winner. A true revelation made.

This is a very enjoyable film, though some hardcore scenes does not mean it’s not exactly family viewing. However, if you enjoy a good philosophical debate on sexuality will love this movie. The script is cool and erudite.

Bravo, Breillat!

Les Choses Secretes

Les Choses Secretes At the risk of sounding like Borat, I like sex. I like sexy erotic films.

And this movie has that in abundance, especially in the last twenty minutes. So what can go wrong? Oh, well.

The story has more holes in it that the cheese smells occasionally. The script is terrible (especially when Christophe opens his mouth).

Both sum not - and I’m not just talking about the ridiculous coincidences that happen all over. Without giving away anything, as in the first act we have to deal with the ridiculous notion that someone as smart and manipulative as Nathalie, with a great apartment in Paris and never should be a stripper.

Of course, you must be a place where little na ve Sandrine she may face. But already at this early stage it becomes clear that we should suspend any belief, if we try to enjoy this story. It’s a shame.

Some scenes are superbly erotic, in particular a scene that, unfortunately, is cut by Nathalie - You’ll recognize it when it happens, it will cease to mourn for more. But this is let down by the script so poor, by atrocious editing and continuity errors. And though Roger Mirmont is (as one might expect) bright as Lacroix MD, and newcomer Sabrina Seyvecou is acceptable as Sandrine, the other main cast members should really consider an alternative career.

Well how Les Cahiers du Cinema could name this the number of a 2002 movie is incredible. OK is a French magazine, but in no way on earth makes this film deserves such distinction.

OldBoy

Although not said idiot, Old Boy has a tankerful of sound and fury and a sack topical film. Half the time to come back to find out where exactly the last scene comes from, as one episode segues empty coldly to another. The central plot riddle attempts to overcome this frantic regurgitation with a paint-by-numbers aesthetic shock that is as cynical as it is childish.

The thing is finished with a stolen flash sensitivity with an apparently random contempt of Amelie. If s for us is sick or move unclear.I found this film terribly soulless, artificial, conscious effort, yet overly convinced of its own weight.

T I would like my elected representative.

Ramones - End Of The Century

This is a decent stab at a story Ramones, and given the quality of the material, on the one hand, it would be too difficult to make a hash of it. That said, anyone who cobbled this together, not just stressed.

I doubt that this movie offers much new information for most fans of the Ramones and not actually submerge much of the unknown. With a million great songs to choose from, there was a Ramones - End Of The Century surprising lack of airtime allocated, and while the band of all friction acknowldge legendary, “all we have here are vague suggestions of how this evolution -” Johnny is too much control,”Dee Dee is an addict.

So?! What’s new?

A little more on the way to finding more interviews and music would have done wonders for this production. I still get 4 stars and absolutely worth watching, simply because the Ramones are an excellent band.

Irreversible

Irreversible ADVISORY - God! I wrote this review just because I do not think the synopsis is explained clearly enough …… This movie has a terrible scene of terrible violence. Please do not do that if you’re sensitive to violence and wasn’t ready to blood.I doubt “one of the most violent murders ever portrayed on film”! Although I read the synopsis of the movie - I didn’t quite believe that anything could be that horrible.

It was very close to the film outside and snapped the DVD in two !….. but I did not …. and am actually glad didn’t. If you can get in the first horrific murder scene, is really a good movie.

Because the first scene is so horrible that I thought they were setting the standard for the rest of the film. However, this was not the case, although in total there are 3 ugly scenes - two of which were not as visual as first. It is a well-directed film that is cleverly together ……. My suggestion is to see the first 10 minutes of fast forward for 3 minutes, sit and enoy the rest of the movie!

Primer

I really wanted this movie, really did. I like this kind of gender-sensitive thinking science fiction. The emphasis on science.

I know this was a low budget film and I wish them every success for the future, but I had trouble with this. It was hard Primer find out what was happening.

Two types of shirts and ties muttering at each other running around trying to avoid his double. You need a script rather than too improvised dialogue. So it would be clearer with some kind of history.

I’m not saying do not hire, but I would not expect too much.

Secretary

This film is captivating - is fresh and flirtatious at all. Despite its more complex issue (two solo sadomasochistic fantasies meet others in the workplace!), This movie is not sleazy or dark. It is beautifully filmed, in a colorful, imaginative and unique.

I was not expecting, like t this movie, because it is so strange story and it sounded like it belonged to a peripheral sexploitation Secretary niche. After seeing it however, I was pleasantly surprised.

The main roles are played superbly (Gyllenhaal and Spader) - while developing its chemical composition, timing and the suspense is somewhat rushed perfect.Despite end, this is a magnificent effort by Steven Shainberg to deal with strange and sexually charged story - above all a film about love, but just see for yourself!

Battle Royale 2 - Requiem

… BRii disappoint you. There’s nothing elegant, and simply do not care about the characters, the quality is off point, especially the character is a new teacher who unscary, non-threatening, a bit of a clown really. I found myself disinterested - totally opposite to the BR first, and then I read that the director did BR, died a day in a shootout BRii, and his son took over, which explains how the film has been lost.

Battle Royale 2 - Requiem I do not mean to suggest this is as bad as many movies by accident, can intervene, that is why the 2 stars instead of 1 (I reserve the one star for a day someone asks ‘paint dry - The Movie’) . But you know if you felt like Battle Royale was a guerrilla attack on the brain, can only be disappointed to see this, and you gain a new perspective in the first, so I’d say do not bother. Watch Battle Royale back in place!

Wal-mart - The High Cost of Low Price

Wal-mart - The High Cost of Low Price This documentary is a promising concept, which ended up looking a little sorry for himself. Seems to have been reduced to a vehicle of some bitter ex Wal-Mart employees, who give the impression that they wish had stayed in school a little more and have this as their only employment option.

Cliché complaints are plentiful: “Walmart wrong with me because I was really female / black / family oriented / fat / high / sensitive” and so on, alternating with a variety of anti-fat cat figures (from undisclosed sources and unsubstantiated of course). This film loses momentum and soon becomes the documentary equivalent of a shopping cart with an Asda wonkey wheel.
