The All Together

This movie left me with many unanswered questions. He’s Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer is the director a favor? He was a writer who participate or just make it up on the fly as it seems?

What the hell is the Northern Soul music, especially the video in the end credits has to do with anything? Danny Dyer has managed to go to a place beyond the scope of the full rate of casting? or you can not play anyone but poorly acted villain.

Why bother making this film at all? but especially from the beginning to end this was by far the worst film I’ve seen in a long, long time. Do not waste your time.

Love Actually

I almost lost the will to live while watching this. It is a derivative, generic, over the residues of the numbers of two hours of my life.

I could have spent that time doing something more productive and rewarding, as staring into space, humming. It presents itself as 10 different love stories, when in fact they are all equal.

Someone has a crush on Love Actually another person, causing a (usually minor) problem, but everything is resolved happily on Christmas Eve. This story takes place in various forms, 10 times in two hours. 10!

You know that everything will work out well in each of these plots, and even this predictable silliness continues. * Deep breathing calms * Bill Nighy and Rowan Atkinson were good though.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy

The Hitchhiker s Guide To The Galaxy Being a “fan hitch”, I was eager to see this film and see how a big budget could increase by an exciting and entertaining story. Unfortunately, unlike The Lord of the Rings, for example, the aid budget to ruin .

In trying to appeal to a mass American audience to recoup costs, the creative genius and peculiar story is submitted by the bland cliches of Hollywood. It is also clear that the Director was caught between staying true to the original text and appealing to everyone. It therefore falls somewhere in between, the story is lost and perhaps hard to follow if you have not read the book.

Disappointing.

Office, The - Series 1

Personally I do not see what the fuss is about, this is just a pretty good comedy with a smile a few moments. But the laugh moments are spread few and far between, most humor only invokes a strange smile or chuckle from me and that to me does not make the mark of a great comedy.

Great comedy in my book is measured Office, The - Series 1 with laughter and this does not make the grade. Its no denying the program is the intelligent humor and the representation of office life is terribly real. But if you want to see comedy where the protagonist gets into toe curling situations and hires Alan Partridge, is much better and has more belly laughs.

By all means check out this series, but do not expect anything miraculous.

Confetti

Confetti I liked this movie. After I had ordered that someone told me it was all ad libed by the actors and pens’oh-oh, this is going to be painful! but I should have known better …

With a cast like this ad-libbing is better than most scripting efforts. I will not give any plot away, but do not expect slapstick pratfalls or anything like that.

The humor is subtle and very British soap paper, “but the characters are so good that you start believing that they are real! Gay wedding planners are so incredibly sweet together.

Gentle humor, as this is rare, it is going to love that character. Highly recommended, but not for people who think that American Pie is the height of humor!

Shaun Of The Dead

The film debut of the computer that you bought the Channel 4 comedy Spaced inspired. A blend of romantic comedy and zombie movie (or RomZomCom - Richard Curtis imagine being beaten by a George Romero), who s one of the most inventive British films for years.

The comedy is sharp, observant and achingly funny in places and when the zombies are unleashed, the film turns out to be surprisingly chilling. Director Edgar Wright employs many of the same effective visual flourishes that used spaced crash zoom, whip pans, quick cuts.

The cast is excellent particular praise should go to writer / star Simon Pegg, who is in almost every scene, and deals with some difficult emotional scenes with dexterity. Another nice Shaun Of The Dead aspect of this film is that is so intrinsically British.

British right, not the postcard, the American-British pleasant seen in most films produced in the United Kingdom. Pubs, corner shops, the pork-scratchings, Cornette, Trisha all there.

Although the film is full of little homages to various films and zombie film genre, it never gets too know. In the wrong hands, could have fallen into the parody without a soul, but, clearly, Pegg and Wright have a deep love and respect for the genre shows that throughout the film. If you’re a casual observer film, ll certainly enjoy the movie, however, s the horror genre fans and movie buffs probably more satisfaction.

Office, The - The Christmas Specials

This 2-part Christmas special has already become the stuff of television legend and rightly so. Do not bother to see if they have not seen the series itself, although, as you will not feel the full impact. The first part is almost tragic in its “image of David Brent sad life after the office, from an appearance dressed as Austin Powers at a nightclub to sit alone in a hotel drinking.

The documentary-style Office, The - The Christmas Specials makes it even more convincing, but at the same time, the strange moments that make it so fun. The second part is the return of the Aurora office at Christmas - but what a happy ending for everyone? i could not tell!

It could have been done with a little more than Gareth hilariously stupid, and a little less annoying but Tim unfunny new colleague, but otherwise flawless.

Jude Law is a talented actor and can take on such roles without even making an effort. The movie reminded me a lot of “Archie” how one man has a good life, a little thing that happens to him and his world begins to crumble POW and try different things to try Breaking And Entering understand what is happening to him. I can not fault any of the performances in this film, I’m more into action / horror / thriller, but this movie intrigued me because of good performance.

It is a bit slow in places, but Jude Law takes on this trip that just needs to know how it ends.

I’m not really a fan of Shaun of the Dead, I can not find it amusing, but this really made me laugh and I recommend it to everyone. Simon Pegg plays Nicholas Angel, the top of the Met Police, the best in everything. Only he is so good you’re doing to look bad for ships to be sent to the countryside to a small town in the middle of nowhere.

He is still doing everything by the book, meaning that all raids and underage drinkers in flagrant HOODIES. His partner is Danny, obsessed with Bad Boys II and Point Break, wants Hot Fuzz throw things at the same time leaping into the air. Everything is fine until along the grisly “accidents” that occur to maintain.

Angel thinks that may be linked, but nobody cree. Can you crack the case? This is stupid beyond belief, but who knows.

I love Simon Pegg’s face throughout all, totally straight, I do not know how she did it. And of course the uber geek that I love all the references to other films it makes, which is what I loved best about Spaced.

Go to see when and have a good laugh. It has been ages since a film tickled me so.
