Switchblade Romance

I’m not usually a fan of slasher films, but this movie had great reviews on this I decided to give it a try and I agree! American slasher movies never seem real so I will not engage with them, I feel like I could never happen to me. [They also seem to follow a formula so you can usually Pickout victims in the order they were going to kill] This film however seemed very real [I kept forgetting to breathe, so great was the suspense!] left me a bit by the end [but not] without giving anything of distance, it is difficult to make the final adjustment in the chain of events that have just witnessed the film. frightening

Karla

Karla When Leslie Mahaffy missing persons could claim that it was not as important because a.) he had been in trouble for theft, and b) that was out of town. When Terri Anderson also disappeared, which was found floating naked in the water near Port Dalhousie, all began to be afraid. In the time French Kirsten disappeared as a people who were collectively horrified.

I remember having a fight with my teenage boyfirend on the street and having a woman turn to brake hard with us. Enter, she told me, you will be safe. The day that Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka exchanged their wedding vows in a fantasy wedding in Falls Lake was the same day that Leslie Mahaffy’s body was pulled from the water encased in cement.

I came to know that the cement very well, my first job was as a secretary at the company asked to perform geotechnical testing and cement was sitting in a cardboard box about three feet from my desk. Kirsten French was held for two weeks in the basement of his house, all by surprise my dog walked past every day.

All of us in the city were too close to these events, players, everything. I remember all the whispers on the bus because Kirsten’s cousin went to the front of mourn, everyone knew someone.

When we learned that another victim, Tammy Homolka and having Paul as a Christmas present to compensate for the absence of his sister’s virginity, the cry became indescribable. These events should not be a movie, should not have been the basis for an episode of Law & Order. This was a catastrophe that affected a small town.

American Splendor

If you do not have rented this masterpiece, but then I ask that you are doing with your life? This limited to any genre film is a comedy, a drama, is a biography and a documentary.

It tells the story of the life of Harvey Pekar, an ordinary Joe who one day decides to write a comic about his life as a crumby fileclerk in Cleveland, and the underground comic book history was made. As Harvey himself (who narrates the film) says there is no male bull false, everything is real because stuff. You ll laugh ordinary life is very complex, “can mourn (the story of Harvey fighting for testicular cancer is especially forged), but you’ll love it, I can assure you!

Suspicious River

Suspicious River An unhappily married young woman working at the seedy motel as a receptionist. She then decides to earn extra money by prostituting herself to the guests. She then falls for one of them and is used by him.

Sounds promising, but in reality it was a very boring film. From a director who makes movies like this issue and they kiss, the biggest crime must be to make them as dull and remote as this.

For this type of film to work, you must be able to sympathize with the characters. Because Molly Parker dimensional performance in the title role, could not really care for her.

The film just chant and the end never came. Not worth renting.

Saints And Soldiers

Saints And Soldiers A film of World War II to remember, may have been made on a low budget, but it really is as good as Saving Private Ryan. The action could not have been any number of you have wanted, but it was good, the story was good and the young soldier who had worked in Germany on a mission immediately took his attention, not because of any mention of religion or of its past in Germany, but he was a shooter and obviously a good soldier to have at your side, but carrying a big load on his shoulders, because of some horrible experience that had happened in the recent past. I do not remember the name, but the actors could mix with the best!

You should see this movie.

Bubba Ho-Tep

The concept of Bubba Ho - Tep worth the rental price alone, JFK and Elvis Presley alive and well in a nursing home in America to fight with a crazy mother and steal their souls. These are all good things are made of dreams, of course depending on what may or may not have been the night before smoking? Bruce Campbell has never been better, even Ash from ‘Evil Dead series pales in comparison to the wonderfully cranky performance here gives the elderly as the King of rock’ n roll. But, Bubba Ho-Tep end of the day is simply not enough.

Fifteen minutes stretched beyond breaking point short, Bubba is at his best when it sticks to the relationship between the two main characters. Mom through the whole line feels as if it belongs to another movie and to be perfectly honest, maybe that is where it should have been. Bubba Ho - Tep is very watchable, thanks mainly to an excellent lead performance.

Just do not expect an Evil Dead style monster mass because it is not the same. Give the man a chainsaw and that may have had a different story!

Switchblade Romance

Switchblade Romance I didn’t know what to expect this, as I had read many good review, but has absolutely no idea what it is. Without giving anything away, I felt a little contributed.

Sure, its a horror thriller above average, no doubt full of high tension and deformation of alarms. However, the end of the third flip left me scratching their heads and wondering if it was presented as a means to try to encourage a lively movie.

So, ok, but nothing like what I expected. I’d hire a degree of caution, not only for the weak of heart, but for those with an eye on a decent story.

Elephant

Gus Van Sants “Elephant” is a meandering, a voyeuristic look at Columbine High School, both on his mercy tiroteo’Elefantes’ no heroes, no action sequences, not a line expressive, but it presents a beautiful day of high school given normality, based on the inevitable third act, especially uncomfortable slaughter.

Van Sant voyeuristic, almost like a documentary, the approach allows us to work with each character, as devoted to their work every day, moving in silence after each of their subordinates. However, each and every task becomes insignificant conversation throw a different light Elephant context in which the cooling may be the last character.

Van Sant to suggest that image lacks the political power of Michael Moore’s “Bowling For Columbine”, that would ignore the hauntingly realistic representation of the film itself. Moore, who leads us on a tour of the political strength of the cause and consequence “Elephant” puts us in impotent teenage gunmen first line, making the slaughter, a reminder of a very real drama event.

“Elephant” is the image of Moore can play Charlot Heston NRA at the next meeting. A subtle, disturbing and moving film.

The Last Horror Movie

well here is the well known story .. a mass murderer in all records of killings in his video tape (including a zoom in dying womans face) and makes a dcoumentary of all .. then rent a horror movie of your local video store and records of its own documentary that takes the video back to the store ..

then waits for someone to rent the movie (so far entirely credible hey!) and then follow that person to his house and wait until you see, then The Last Horror Movie at the end of the film that sneaks into your house and kill it and now we know who committed the murders! Only one problem though .. 2005 and is now renting DVD’s and can not be recorded as a whole and therefore the concept of fear of falling flat on his face.

do yourself a favor and miss this so-called “film” if everything that glorifies death as a “fun” activity that is extremely worrying. is not enough unnecessary violence in the world without the development of the film trying to do a recreational activity?
