U-Turn

U-turn is a lost masterpiece. Ignored on its release, undiscovered on DVD, remains to be hailed as a modern classic is so rightly is. Hopefully the interest surrounding Sean Penn at the time encourage people to pursue their catalog.

Penn fans will not be disappointed as it is so cool SPIFFINGLY in this movie can not imagine anyone else can do it. Its advantage, intelligence and depth, qualities that are so rare in modern actors. The story is the classic series of strange band breaks in Hicksville, in the middle of nowhere and then things start to go wrong.

However, this type of genre, is probably the best, because of the simplicity, humor and cleverness of the writing and the cast tour force. Nick Nolte, Jon Voight, Billy Bob Thorton and Joaquin Phoenix are brilliant.

While J-Lo is great as the red fox dresssed. Oliver Stone, adds in his usual style and style to heighten the tension and drama. Using the flash cuts nervous composition stone framework also manages perfectly convey the beauty and brutality of the desert plains of Arizona.

The film keeps you hooked until the end as they try to reach double cross which ultimately will prevail and not disappointed by the capper of a end. Please encourage as many people as you can see this beauty largely unknown

Hollywood Homicide

This is the second film from Josh Harnett (the first was 40 days and 40 nights) that I could see all the way through …. in fact both times I did not do through the half-hour barrier! Desperately tried to enjoy it, if only for the sake of Harrison Ford, but even he looked bored and just going through the motions.

Within the first half hour I knew who committed the murder and why, so it was just a case of looking to find out, but neither character was nice enough to keep watching. Harnett is another in the line of pretty, but the surfer dude types of fools who just do not float my boat. Sorry, not even hardcore fans of Ford must fork any money for this!

Shield, The - Series 1

Shield, The - Series 1 Let’s be clear about this The Shield’s not very friendly and rarely comes to feel good. Of course, sometimes the characters have good things happen to them, but the air of violence and despair is always a spot, even in the happiest of moments.Having said that. For those with the stomach to Shawn Ryan’s vision of the Strike Team Farmington Police Division, led by the blunt instrument that is Detective Vic Mackey (the charismatic Michael Chiklis) is superior entertainment above all else has hit our screens.

The stories crack along at an incredible rate packing an average of 60 action scenes in every 40 minutes episode. The is character driven as though there are a variety of plot twists and turns is always excellent set to transmit the emotional impact of the police series unpolicable streets. This not let sit and simply observe. You are bound to question. Having said that the show never preaches.

This show is known for but I would not recommend to anyone who does has a taste for the courageous and dark. Finally I just want to qualify that by saying this is not a number “of the bride of the kids from me, which is very boy movies much anti’Hellboy”Aliens vs. Predator ‘and so on) found The Shield compelling and addictive.

The Missing Gun

The Missing Gun If you are looking for an action film from Hong Kong (or are so illiterate as to be able to read subtitles), then be disappointed by this charming low-budget Chinese film. The plot is very simple, the search for a policeman by his lack firearm in a culture that ban the possession of weapons. The loss of his weapon brings both the confusion - who would want to steal in a place where even criminals do not use guns, and dishonor.

The plot unfolds at a thriller Suave whodunit, but this is not the main focus of movie.Much of the film is a pure comedy, the main character, a clown almost unhappy but very well balanced with the drama, let becomes a farce. The main character is deeply watchable, whether their friends jumping around trying to reconstruct their movements in the drunken night before or in crisis as he realizes his missing gun and three bullets could make him responsible for others deaths. The photography is very good, showing off the beautiful landscapes and the direction and editing are used with good results to lift the story. This simple moral fable is definitely worth seeing if you want an antidote to the nonsense of Hollywood Pap. peculiar , funny and interesting look at life in china town.

Give it a try.

The Punisher

Recalling the original version of Dolph Lundgren, I was expecting 110 minutes of chaos Modern Marvel, but what is a drop of the almighty The plot has more holes than Bonnie and Clyde s car! Hitmen mafia don know how to make sure that your victim is dead, a loser that is wonderful waitress (and smart) enough to be a model, a professional hired murderer given to Memphis to meet his victim, singing with him in an empty restaurant during a bleeding slaughter anyone except those who have been dragged from a car accident, an experienced police / soldier who leaves a trail of clues and obvious fingerprints, and that creates a room interrogation that all the neighbors can hear! Not a single police car in sight, despite a number of bombings and assassinations, no innocent people anywhere in the entire film, taking into account the nature of history, countless mistakes and ballistic weapons for the time the hero takes a shot in the leg, and two shotgun blasts to the torso at close range, and is still intact, back to the left silly silly question how this plot can get! In the end, I felt sorry for John Travolta, whose great bad guy that seemed to have a very raw deal, and that normally receives a script better than this license One very disappointing indeed, less emotional content even Dolph s previous excursion

Sea Of Souls - Series 1

The first part of this show about human sacrifice Muti is watchable, even thought it succumbs to some very obvious and absurd cliches - you know that when the victim leads police to the crime scene, the place will be miraculously transformed and all evidence will have disappeared. The second part is further lack of Sea Of Souls - Series 1 cliché.

Worse, the people doing the Muti (Africa) witchcraft become absolutely Africa (I’m sure the BBC executives could not stand a show where the bad are all from Africa), which makes the thing Muti the magic of a mere gimmick. It’s like the Godfather, but mixing in a few Chinese and West Indians, not to offend Sicillians.

Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man 2 The first Spiderman movie was really good, but lacked the tension and the action scenes were short and brief. In Spiderman 2, everything is better in all aspects and improvement in the first film.

The effects are better and the CGI was not excessive (which ruined some movies i have seen this year), and real than the movie more enjoyable. the action scenes are brilliantly constructed and least got your attention and there are some vibrant moments that keep you at the edge of your seat.

Doc Octopus is a great villain and Tobey Maguire is fit to play Spiderman. This is probably one of the best movies I’ve seen this year at the movies, I gave 5 stars but the lack of a grand final, and only maybe a few niggles in the movie, but it is a comic film, and that go with the flow, and be entertained.

its miles better than Van Helsing!

U-Turn

U-Turn Bit of a culture shock to a middle class, middle-two years in middle England had seen Coronation Street. But after an adjustment-in period (when they found the music annoying) that were developed for this varied history of losers, liars, thugs and cheats stacked in a destination city anywhere in Central America. Strong performance across the cast kept us watching with a mixture of horror, fascination and fun increases as Sean Penn and J-Lo fought husbands, partners, each and their own being damaged to be “free.”

The message seems to be that eventually the only survivors are some of the vultures. We are glad we made the effort, and you’ll have unexpected spots co-star with walk-in parts and incredible hiding behind makeup.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

S How bad about this movie is that it could have been so good. Ang Lee, obviously has a consummate skill in a martial arts choreography of fight scenes.

Why did that stuff completely around by the characters inexplicably flying around style of Peter Pan? Feet and fists fly at best fighting since Bruce Lee and suddenly someone they fly horizontally (and unrealistic) across the screen as something in a Benny Hill sketch.

My theory is this, in an early stage is a thrilling chase across the roofs of old Beijing, but is not quite right. Characters Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Do not make much contact with the roof, as if a film has been badly superimposed on another.

Jumping high walls that land softly, as if the security operations team harnesses I do not understand very well but could not afford another take. But instead of trying to get the sequences to be very realistic, I think that Lee decided it was easier to give everyone the power of levitation.

It s silly and pointless. What does it mean when you throw a hero out of a mountaintop? “He sacrificed his life for his master, or simply decided a change of scenery?
