Transformers - The Movie

Ok so if you were a fan of Transformers in the 80s you might want to see seasons 1 and 2 before watching this again. This is set between seasons 2 and 3, if you like is a “change in period” of a generation of heroes and villains (Optimus Prime, Megatron) to the new batch (Hot Rod, Galvatron). It’s definitely worth seeing, even if you’ve never seen an episode of the processors before, especially if you’re a 70’s / 80’s cartoon fan.

The only complaint I have of this film is the soundtrack to a rock ballad, but good was 80 and was the style of the time.

Barnyard

My 3 children and I … ages 11, 3, 5 and 32 saw over the weekend and I do not understand why there are so many negative reviews. We all laughed most of the time … except when Ben died, and my daughter looked at me with a serious look on his face and said … “That’s sad is not a father.” I wish my son would have been seen throughout the lesson to be responsible.

Barnyard I am recommending to everyone I see! The udders of bulls, cows steal a car … I say do not look in depth and just sit and enjoy the stupid humor …. farmer under the tree … grace.

Do we really need to be as critical of the quality of the animation? I did not even realize any of that, I was too busy enjoying what I thought was a good movie.

Finding Nemo

Seen in the movies and now watched at home. I still can not understand what the young turtle guy is saying, but I’m not a good surfer.Rented this because I wanted to keep kids occupied and adults were. But first had to verify that it was appropriate for children (That is our excuse!). Yup the jokes were as funny as they had been in the movies, the sad parts in burrows made us partners, and the parties happy made us laugh.

Definitely safe for kids.Watch out in the end credits and see the rest of escape for aquarium fish tank cleaning. Guaranteed to leave laughing.Enjoy

Peter Pan

Peter Pan This is the story of Peter Pan, right? A new live-action tread of the Disney film, with shades of “fiasco Spielberg Hook” pendulously hanging over him, right? Nope.

It’s overwhelming. Family history is given an overhaul almost Freudian (Wendy very fantasies Captain Hook! And he is your father!), And the determination of Peter to be the boy who never grows up is interpreted as a weakness, rather than something that is aspired.

And yet it manages to be hugely entertaining throughout. Jason Isaacs plays both the villain and Mr. Darling with a real ability, and without too many echoes of Lucius Malfoy, and Jeremy Sumpter is exactly as naughty as it should.

Richard Briers is a joy that Mr. Smee - shame on you, Bob Hoskins and cursed steals the show. And the Lost Boys are just that, unlike Mr. Spielberg’s ridiculous street-punks. Frankly, I expected to enjoy it at all - in fact, argued against ordering it - but was very pleasantly surprised.

As, hopefully, it will be!

Looney Tunes Back In Action

It’s a great idea, no doubt about that, the crazy world of errors and embarks on a madcap adventure to recover Co Blue Monkey Diamond before the President of Acme (Steve Martin performance in a terrible delusion) can put the people in the world … you guessed it … monkeys. The film is a damn for children, and strives to provide sufficient Jollies for adults forced to watch along with them, but this is a film that is so Looney Tunes Back In Action damn hard it ultimately fails. The film is a technical triumph, but something … bueno .. the margin.

The looniness think so, because while there are scenes that capture the anarchy of the original drawings (The sequence of the Louvre and Area 52 are the ones to watch out) there are plenty of jokes that fall flat so you can hear them play the floor with a noise … Give it a go, anyone under 10 is therefore thank you, however, may want a stiff drink handy.

Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo Though perhaps not scaling the heights of 2 ‘movie Toy Story’ and ‘Monsters Inc’, the Pixar film for Disney on 5 demonstrates once and for all that these guys are really on top of his game. A simple story of a clown fish in the ocean of Australia takes the road to Sydney to save his son from life in the aquarium of a dentist, this has to be one of the most remarkable visual animated films ever made and beautiful.

Ever shot is impressive. Of course it does not hurt that is filled with charming characters Humphries seeks to intimidate the sharks that actually is trying to wean itself away from seafood, delightful turn of Gender “as a blue fish with short-term loss memory.

Much of it is very funny too.

Rabbit Proof Fence

We were fascinated and horrified watching this movie. It seems incredible that the law was still in situ (but not used at that time) until 1970. He brought home with us (very English born) as very arrogant we were (we hope this is past tense) as a nation on the assumption Rabbit Proof Fence best for other races.

I guess this was not a movie for all Australians, especially those of Anglo-Saxon origin. All played in this film were excellent, and Branagh was so convincing in his character that I took a long time before I realized who it was.

The Emperor’s New Groove

Whoever gave this the green light entertainment not only deserved an Oscar, but a knighthood! This is an OS-Disney to be a breath of fresh air and nods toward clarity “adult” animations like ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Ice Age’. It’s a classic!

The script is as dry as a vodka martini and 007 of the animation owes much to Chuck Jones and Tex Avery (as does the pace hyperactive). And who was inspired enough to get Eartha Kitt to the voice of Yzma deliciously evil deserves an Oscar too. Add to the mix of a theme song sung by Tom hilarious the ‘hip-TRUY Jones and this is a film that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Priceless!
