Transformers - The Movie

Ok so if you were a fan of Transformers in the 80s you might want to see seasons 1 and 2 before watching this again. This is set between seasons 2 and 3, if you like is a “change in period” of a generation of heroes and villains (Optimus Prime, Megatron) to the new batch (Hot Rod, Galvatron). It’s definitely worth seeing, even if you’ve never seen an episode of the processors before, especially if you’re a 70’s / 80’s cartoon fan.

The only complaint I have of this film is the soundtrack to a rock ballad, but good was 80 and was the style of the time.

Finding Nemo

Seen in the movies and now watched at home. I still can not understand what the young turtle guy is saying, but I’m not a good surfer.Rented this because I wanted to keep kids occupied and adults were. But first had to verify that it was appropriate for children (That is our excuse!). Yup the jokes were as funny as they had been in the movies, the sad parts in burrows made us partners, and the parties happy made us laugh.

Definitely safe for kids.Watch out in the end credits and see the rest of escape for aquarium fish tank cleaning. Guaranteed to leave laughing.Enjoy

Saiyuki Reload - Vol. 2

I had heard nothing but positives about this series. However, when I saw it, I was disappointed to find most of the DVD was episodes of filler. None has a lot to the plot and some just felt like a waste of time.

In a memo, the Saiyuki Reload - Vol. 2 the animation is cool and the dubbing is pretty good.

But what really makes this DVD worth watching and three stars instead of two, are occurrences of bit at the end of each episode. They have nothing to do with history, but are funny and well worth seeing.

The Simpsons Movie

I had heard a lot of bad reviews about this film, that not only was fun and that Simpson had been altered to make a small cartoon. I love the Simpsons, so I just had to do this for me.

Well, I thought it was pretty good and the jokes were still there despite some of the later TV episodes had dried a bit. We laughed out loud many times and ended the film with a smile on our faces, that can not be bad, right? Only two things spoiled.

One: the jokes and The Simpsons Movie down. The film was difficult to keep the laughs and made it into the peaks and valleys.

Two: I felt a lot of characters that make the TV series so great, not given much chance to shine and that for me this film has become a big sound! Maybe if they do another, this could be taken into consideration?

Anyway does not matter what I say because if you’re a fan of the TV series, is likely to be seen or already looking forward to the car to fall back on the mat :-)

Renaissance

I had never heard of this movie before, but I and my partner are very big fans of animation, we thought we would give it a try. Like most reviewers have said, this is a visually stunning film. Filmed entirely in black and white, urban landscapes are amazing, bringing to mind ‘Blade Runner’ in its futuristic styling of the industry.

However, the character animation is less impressive - the face Renaissance the animation is poor, and the characters move like a computer game characters (especially when running). The plot is typical dystopian future type thing - 1 big company control of most things in the city - and the characters are one-dimensional, so it’s hard to feel anything for them, as the story unfolds.

It’s worth seeing if you have the time, but not a patch on most Japanese animated films

South Park - Vol. 9

Probably not the best selection of South Park episodes ever made here. The 3 episodes around one in the night of the meteor shower, believes that the 4 children are separated and each has its own history.

This takes away from the interaction between Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman, who has South Park - Vol. %%4%%n%%4%%9 has always been the highlight of the series. However, this disc is saved by “sexual harassment Panda”, which is the best episode of the third series, by far!

If you can not laugh at Oinky see the pig running with scissors, then you’re either watching the DVD or you’re dead wrong!

Team America - World Police

Team America - World Police It’s sex scene is fun, I immediately saw the Thunderbirds gags (the blond girl “Lady Penelope, dark hair and a tin can, the leader Jeff Tracy), one of the characters reminds me of Keanu Reeves. The title is a joke in itself. Team America World Police, can not be the policeman of the world if only an American team.

operation loved the joke (not convincing at all). A lot of bad language, but very fun to watch too, if greater than 15 because that’s the only way we are going to get the full sense a sequel jokes.I possible team in Brussels: European Police

Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo Though perhaps not scaling the heights of 2 ‘movie Toy Story’ and ‘Monsters Inc’, the Pixar film for Disney on 5 demonstrates once and for all that these guys are really on top of his game. A simple story of a clown fish in the ocean of Australia takes the road to Sydney to save his son from life in the aquarium of a dentist, this has to be one of the most remarkable visual animated films ever made and beautiful.

Ever shot is impressive. Of course it does not hurt that is filled with charming characters Humphries seeks to intimidate the sharks that actually is trying to wean itself away from seafood, delightful turn of Gender “as a blue fish with short-term loss memory.

Much of it is very funny too.
